The Salvador Maritime Terminal is a Port Tourism Facility – IPTur, governed by numerous rules and regulations, which require the adoption of complex security and control mechanisms.
In compliance with the applicable legislation, and in particular the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code – ISPS, the Terminal has a strict security system, equipped with computerized access controls by 24 hour-cameras of closed circuit monitoring.
According to the Terminal’s safety regulations, only cruisers, upon presentation of a seapass or a ship identification card, have free access to the facility. Other users, such as service providers and visitors or guests will only have access released if they have been previously authorized by the Administration and if the registration was done at the entrance gate.
BE AWARE: Persons not previously registered in the access control system will not be able to access the facilities of the Salvador Maritime Terminal, as determined in the Public Port Security Plan – CONTERMAS, approved by CONPORTOS (National Public Security Commission for Ports, Terminals and Waterways).
