ARRENDATARIA NOVO TERMINAL MARITIMO DE SALVADOR SPE S.A. is a company established by the CONTERMAS Consortium formed by Socicam and ABA, winner of the first auction of port facility exploration carried out by the Government, under the auspices of the new regulatory framework of the port sector, Law No. 12. 815/2013. As winner of Auction No. 05 /2016-ANTAQ, CONTERMAS obtained the right to operate the Passenger Terminal of the Port of Salvador during 25 years, in accordance with a Lease Agreement entered into with the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation.
The management of the new terminal has the technical capacity and professional experience of companies that operate in the cruise market for some years and which will grant Salvador the best practices of services to assist cruisers, a well as the infrastructure maintenance for the management of tourist equipment. In addition, the CONTERMAS controllers are present in the segment of support to passengers in the main cities of the country, operating in sectors such as air, road and logistics.
